The Junior League is very pleased that you are considering membership in our organization. In order for us to get to know you better, please complete the following.

1. Why do you want to be a member of the Junior League?

2. Give us a brief history of your education and specialized training. Tell us about any valuable skills you may possess.

3. List any organizations you are involved in or have been a member (i.e. community civic, professional, business, religious, social, athletic and or other).

4. Help us identify future community projects. Do you have a community concern that the Junior League could improve?

Residency

Residency requirement for prospective members:

A prospective member has resided or worked within Broward County for at least 2 months by the application deadline.

Residency Affirmation:

I affirm that I have lived or worked in Broward County for two months, or that I will have lived or worked in Broward County for two months by the time the prospective member application closes.

New Member Requirements

New Member Agreement

Upon acceptance to the Junior League, you will become a New Member and will be expected to fulfill certain obligations and responsibilities:

Attend the New Member Orientation - date to be announced.
Attend 3 Monthly New Member Meetings, which are held at various locations on the 4^thTuesday of the month.
Attend 3 Monthly General Membership Meetings, which are held at various locations on the 2^nd Tuesday of the month.
Complete all New Member Course assignments, including New Member Project.
Participate in required activities to be determined by the Board of Directors.
Complete 4 credits by the end of your New Member period, as required of all New Members.
Pay New Member Dues:

Spring Class: Pay a New Member Course fee of $35 and Membership dues of $165 -- $200 total. Payment may be made online by clicking HERE or delivered/mailed to the League's Office: 221 SW 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
Fall Class: Pay a New Member Course fee of $75 and Membership dues of $165 -- $240 total. Payment may be made online by clicking HERE or delivered/mailed to the League's Office: 221 SW 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.

Understand that there may be additional costs of participating in League meetings and activities (e.g., costs incurred for transportation, babysitters and meals).

New Member Agreement Affirmation:

I understand that as a New Member of The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc., I must fulfill these obligations and responsibilities in order to be in good standing and to be granted New Member Active status.
