FOR SPRING 2022, THE PROSPECTIVE MEMBER APPLICATION, SPONSORSHIP FORM, AND DUES MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN DEC. 17, 2021 AT 5PM.
When joining the Junior League, each prospective member is sponsored by a league member. You may already have someone who you wish to act as your sponsor, or you may wish to be matched with a sponsor.
Residency requirement for prospective members: a prospective member has resided or worked within Broward County for at least 2 months by the application deadline.
The Junior League is very pleased that you are considering membership in our organization. In order for us to get to know you better, please complete the following.
New Member Agreement
Upon acceptance to the Junior League, you will become a New Member and will be expected to fulfill certain obligations and responsibilities:
Attend the New Member Orientation - date to be announced.
Attend 3 Monthly New Member Meetings, which are held at various locations on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
Attend 3 Monthly General Membership Meetings, which are held at various locations on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Complete all New Member Course assignments, including New Member Project.
Participate in required activities to be determined by the Board of Directors.
Complete 4 credits by December 1, 2021, as required of all New Members.
Pay a New Member Course fee of $35 and Membership dues of $165 -- $240 total. Payment may be made online by clicking HERE or delivered/mailed to the League's Office: 221 SW 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
Understand that there may be additional costs of participating in League meetings and activities (e.g., costs incurred for transportation, babysitters and meals).
